Deuteronomy 21 ; verse 22-23

Various Laws

22 If someone guilty of a capital offense is put to death and their body is exposed on a pole, 23 you must not leave the body hanging on the pole overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day, because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God’s curse. You must not desecrate the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

مجرموں کو ما را جانا اور درختوں پر لٹکایا جانا

22 “کو ئی شخص ایسا گناہ کر سکتا ہے جس سے وہ موت کی سزا کا مستحق ہو۔ جب وہ مار ڈا لا جا ئے تو اس کی لاش درخت پر لٹکائی جا سکتی ہے۔ 23 جب ایسا ہو تا ہے تو اس کی لا ش پو ری رات درخت پر نہیں رہنی چا ہئے تمہیں اسے بالکل اس دن ہی دفنا دینی چا ہئے کیوں ؟ کیوں کہ جسے درخت پر لٹکا یا جا تا ہے وہ خدا کی طرف سے ملعون ہے۔ تمہیں اس ملک کو نا پاک نہیں کرنا چا ہئے جسے خداوند تمہا را خدا تمہیں رہنے کیلئے دے رہا ہے۔

My point of view about above verses

If someone deserve a capital punishment he is put to death and his body is exposed an a pole- but it should not hanging on pole overnight – but has to bury on same day because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God’s curse – You must not defile the land – your God given you as an inheritance

Land is sacred and it should not be defiled by our wrong doings

May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
