Deuteronomy 22 ; verse 25-27
25 But if out in the country a man happens to meet a young woman pledged to be married and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall die. 26 Do nothing to the woman; she has committed no sin deserving death. This case is like that of someone who attacks and murders a neighbor, 27 for the man found the young woman out in the country, and though the betrothed woman screamed, there was no one to rescue her
25 لیکن اگر کو ئی آدمی شادی پّکی کی ہو ئی لڑکی کو میدان میں پکڑتا ہے اور اس سے بالجبر جنسی فعل کرتا ہے تو صرف اس آدمی کو مارڈالنا چا ہئے۔ 26 تمہیں لڑکی کے ساتھ کچھ بھی نہیں کرنا چا ہئے۔ کیوں کہ اس نے ایسا کچھ بھی نہیں کیا جو اسے موت کی سزا کا مستحق بنا تا ہو۔ یہ معاملہ ویسا ہی ہے جیسا کسی آدمی کا بے قصور آدمی پر حملہ اور اس کا قتل کرنا۔ 27 اس آدمی نے شادی پکّی کی ہو ئی لڑکی کو میدان میں پکڑا لڑکی نے مدد کے لئے پکا را لیکن اس کی مدد کرنے وا لا کو ئی نہیں تھا۔
My point of view about above verses
But if woman is in outskirts and she screamed as well but there is no body to help her then only the man who has raped her die as woman does not deserve death as screamed for help – it is like as some one attack a neighbor and murdered him
God wants us to do / judge things as per law described by Him so that everything goes well with us - If we do something wrong then punishments should be there to eliminate evils completely from our societies / communities - These are the laws given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
