Deuteronomy 22 ; verse 28-29
28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.
28 “کو ئی آدمی کسی کنواری لڑکی کو جس کی سگائی نہیں ہو ئی ہو کو پکڑے اور اسے اپنے ساتھ با لجبر جنسی فعل کرنے کے لئے مجبور کرے اگر لوگ ایسا ہو تا دیکھتے ہیں تو ، 29 اس آدمی کو لڑکی کے باپ کو پچاس مثقال چاندی دینی چا ہئے اور لڑکی اس کی بیوی ہو جا ئے گی۔ کیوں کہ اس نے اس کے ساتھ جنسی فعل کیا تھا اور اسے اس کو زندگی بھر طلا ق نہیں دینی چا ہئے۔
My point of view about above verses
If a man meet a virgin who is not going to marry and rapes her and both are discovered – then man shall pay her father 50 shekels of silver, he must marry the young woman and can never divorce her as long as he lives
God wants us to do / judge things as per law described by Him so that everything goes well with us - If we do something wrong then punishments should be there to eliminate evils completely from our societies / communities - These are the laws given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
