Deuteronomy 23 ; verse 3-6
Exclusion From the Assembly
3 No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, not even in the tenth generation. 4 For they did not come to meet you with bread and water on your way when you came out of Egypt, and they hired Balaam son of Beor from Pethor in Aram Naharaim to pronounce a curse on you. 5 However, the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam but turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you. 6 Do not seek a treaty of friendship with them as long as you live.
3 “کو ئی عمّونی یا مو آبی اور یہاں تک کہ اس کی نسل دس پشت کے بعد بھی خداوند کے لوگوں کی جماعت میں شامل نہیں ہو سکتا ہے۔ 4 کیوں کہ عموّنی اور مو آبی لوگوں نے مصر سے باہر آتے وقت سفر کے دوران تم لوگو ں کو روٹی اور پانی دینے سے انکار کیا تھا۔ انہوں نے فتور سے بعور کے بیٹے بلعام کو بھی ارم نہرین کو تجھ پر لعنت کرنے کے لئے بھا ڑے پر لینے کی کوشش کی تھی۔ 5 لیکن خداوند تمہا رے خدا نے بلعام کی ایک نہ سنی خداوند نے بد دُعا ء کو تمہا رے لئے برکت میں بدل دیاکیوں؟ کیوں کہ خداوند تمہا را خدا تم سے محبت کرتا ہے۔ 6 تمہیں عموّنی اور مو آبی لوگوں کے ساتھ امن قائم کرنے کا ارادہ کبھی نہیں کرنا چا ہئے۔ جب تک تم لوگ رہو ان سے دوستی نہ رکھو۔
My point of view about above verses
No one from Ammonite or Moabites can enter in assembly of Lord as they didn't welcome you when you came out of Egypt rather called Balaam son of Beor to curse you – however I turned that curse into a blessing – because I love you – don’t seek a treaty of friendship with them as long as you live
God wants us to welcome His people with bread and water whenever they approach us otherwise be ready for punishment
This is God - so we should behave
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
