Deuteronomy 23 ; verse 12-14
Uncleanness in the Camp
12 Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. 13 As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement. 14 For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you.
12 تمہیں خیمہ کے باہر رفع حاجت کے لئے جگہ بنا نی چا ہئے۔ 13 اور تمہیں اپنے ساز و سامان کے ساتھ کھو دنے کے لئے ایک کھُنتی رکھنی چا ہئے۔ اس لئے جب تم کو حاجت ہو تو تم ایک گڑھا کھو دو اور اسے ڈھک دو۔ 14 کیوں؟ کیوں کہ خداوند تمہا را خدا تمہا رے خیمہ میں دشمنوں کو شکست دینے میں تمہا ری مدد کرنے کے لئے تمہا رے ساتھ ہے اس لئے خیمہ پاک رہنا چا ہئے۔ تب خداوند تم میں کچھ کراہیت نہیں دیکھے گا اور تم سے آنکھیں نہیں پھیرے گا۔
My point of view about above verses
When you want to relieve yourself – take equipment with you and dig a hole and cover your waste – as God moves in your camp to protect you from your enemies so your camp must be holy so that he will not see any indecent things among you and turn away from you
God wants us to remain physically clean as He is holy and wants us to be clean and holy, if we remains clean and holy He did not turn His face from us
This is our God - so we should behave
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
