Deuteronomy 23 ; verse 17-18
Miscellaneous Laws
17 No Israelite man or woman is to become a shrine prostitute. 18 You must not bring the earnings of a female prostitute or of a male prostitute into the house of the Lord your God to pay any vow, because the Lord your God detests them both.
17 “کسی اسرا ئیلی مرد یا عورت کو ہیکل کا فحش کار [a] خدمت گذار نہیں بنانا چا ہئے۔ 18 مرد یا عورت طوائفا نہ پیشہ کی کما ئی ہو ئی دولت کو خداوند اپنے خدا کی ہیکل میں نہیں لا یا جانا چا ہئے۔ کو ئی آدمی کئے گئے وعدہ کے سبب خدا کو دی جانے وا لی چیز کے لئے اس پیسے کا استعمال نہیں کر سکتا۔خداوند تمہا را خدا سبھی مرد اور عورت طوائفوں سے نفرت کرتا ہے۔
My point of view about above verses
No Israelites man or woman becomes a shrine prostitute – their earnings either male or female prostitutes should not be brought to house of Lord to pay vows- as Lord your God hates/ dislike them both
If a slave asks for refuge don’t hand over them to their masters – let them live in town wherever they want to live- don’t oppress them
God wants us to that our live hood be respectable as He dislikes to earn money through prostitution and fulfil our vows
This is our God - so we should behave
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
