19 Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest. 20 You may charge a foreigner interest, but not a fellow Israelite, so that the Lord your God may bless you in everything you put your hand to in the land you are entering to possess.
19 اگر تم کسی اسرا ئیلی کو کچھ اُدھا ردو تو تم اس پر سود نہ لو۔ تم پیسوں پر ، کھانے کی چیزوں پر یا کو ئی ایسی چیز جس پر سود لیا جا سکے سود نہ لو۔ 20 تم غیر ملکی سے سود لے سکتے ہو لیکن تمہیں دوسرے اسرا ئیلی سے سود نہیں لینا چا ہئے۔ اگر تم اُن اصولوں کی تعمیل کرو گے تو خداوند تمہا را خدا اس ملک میں جہاں تم رہنے جا رہے ہو ہر اس چیز میں جو کچھ تم کرو گے برکت د یگا۔
My point of view about above verses
Don’t charge any interest to your fellow Israelites – You can charge interest to foreigners but not to fellow Israelites so that God bless you in everything you put your hand in
We are not allowed to charge interest to our fellows country men, only its allowed for foreigners - means we should treat our country men with reverence
This is our God - so we should behave
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
