Deuteronomy 24 ; verse 17-18
17 Do not deprive the foreigner or the fatherless of justice, or take the cloak of the widow as a pledge. 18 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you from there. That is why I command you to do this.
17 “تمہیں یہ اچھی طرح سے دیکھ لینا چا ہئے کہ غیر ملکیوں اور یتیموں کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کیا جا ئے۔ تمہیں بیوہ سے اس کے لباس کبھی ضمانت رکھنے کے لئے نہیں لینا چا ہئے۔ 18 تمہیں یاد رکھنا چا ہئے کہ تم مصر میں غلام تھے۔ یہ مت بھو لو کہ خداوند تمہا را خدا تمہیں وہاں سے لا یا۔ اس لئے میں تمہیں یہ کرنے کا حکم دیتا ہوں۔
My point of view about above verses
You should do Justice to foreigner and fatherless- and not take the cloak of widow as security – always remember you were slaves in Egypt and I redeemed you from there
God is just and want us to be just with our fellow human beings, He wants us to be kind with widows
Our God want us to spend a joyful life on earth, only we need to follow what He says and believe me there is happiness around us - Righteous acts brings happiness for us - Lets do and enjoy life
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
