Deuteronomy 24 ; verse 19-22
19 When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. 20 When you beat the olives from your trees, do not go over the branches a second time. Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow. 21 When you harvest the grapes in your vineyard, do not go over the vines again. Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow. 22 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt. That is why I command you to do this.
19 “ہو سکتا ہے تم اپنے کھیت کی فصل جمع کرو اور تم کچھ اناج بھو ل سے وہاں چھو ڑدو تو تمہیں اسے لینے کے لئے نہیں جانا چا ہئے۔ یہ غیر ملکیوں ، یتیموں اور بیواؤں کے لئے ہو گا۔ اگر تم ان کے لئے کچھ اناج چھو ڑتے ہو تو خداوند تمہا را خدا تمہیں ان تمام کاموں میں برکت دے گا جو تم کرو گے۔ 20 جب تم زیتون کے درختوں کے پھلوں کو گِرانے کے لئے جھا ڑو گے تو تمہیں شاخوں کی جانچ کرنے نہیں جانا چا ہئے۔ جن زیتون کو تم چھو ڑ دو گے وہ غیر ملکیوں ، یتیموں اور بیواؤں کے لئے ہو گا۔ 21 جب تم اپنے انگور کے باغوں سے انگور جمع کرو تب تمہیں ان انگوروں کو لینے نہیں جانا چا ہئے جنہیں تم نے چھو ڑ دیا تھا۔ وہ انگور غیر ملکیوں ، یتیموں اور بیواؤں کے لئے ہوں گے۔ 22 یا د رکھو کہ تم مصر میں غلام تھے یہی وجہ ہے کہ میں تمہیں یہ کرنے کا حکم دے رہا ہوں۔
My point of view about above verses
When you harvest your field, beat the olives from your tree, grapes in your vin yard – don’t harvest fully – leave something for foreigners, fatherless and widow – so that your God bless you in everything you do – and also remember that you were slaves in Egypt
God bless kind people and He is telling us, how to be kind with less privileged -
We need to be kind to foreigners, widows and fatherless in our day to day dealings
Our God want us to spend a joyful life on earth, only we need to follow what He says and believe me there is happiness around us - Righteous acts brings happiness for us - Lets do and enjoy life
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
