Judges; Chapter 13 Verse 2-5
The Birth of Samson
2 A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was childless, unable to give birth. 3 The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son. 4 Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean. 5 You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.”
2 صُر عہ شہر کا ایک آدمی وہاں تھا۔ اُس آدمی کا نام منوحہ تھا۔ وہ دان کے خاندانی گروہ کا تھا منو حہ کی ایک بیوی تھی۔ لیکن وہ کو ئی اولاد پیدا نہیں کر سکتی تھی۔ 3 خداوند کا فرشتہ منوحہ کی بیوی کے سامنے ظا ہر ہوا اور اس نے کہا ، “تم اولاد پیدا نہیں کر سکتی ہو۔ لیکن تم حاملہ ہو گی اور تمہیں ایک بیٹا ہو گا۔ 4 جب تم حاملہ رہو تو ہو شیار رہنا شراب نہ پینا یا کو ئی نشیلی چیز نہ پینا اور نہ ہی کو ئی ناپاک غذا کھانا۔ 5 ہاں ، تم حاملہ ہو نے وا لی ہو۔ تمہیں ایک لڑ کا ہو گا۔ وہ ایک خاص طریقے سے خدا کیلئے وقف ہوگا۔ وہ ایک نذیری ہو گا اور تم اس کے بال مت کاٹنا۔ وہ پیدا ہو نے سے پہلے خدا کا خاص شخص ہو گا۔ وہ بنی اسرا ئیلیوں کو فلسطینی لوگوں کی طاقت سے نجات دلائے گا۔”
My point of view about above verses
God delivered Israelites into the hands of Philistines for 40 years as they did evil in the eyes of Lord again
The angel of Lord appeared to Manoah’s wife who is barren and childless and told her you will give birth to a son so not drink any fermented drink and stay away from unclean things as the boy is dedicated to God from the womb and will deliver Israel from the hands of Philistines through that boy
This is why God put people in trouble
If people do not serve the Lord and worship others, God get angry - and then people suffer because of their unfaitfulness towards Him - however He has plan to rescue his people from the hands of opreesors - who are opressing God's people for their unfaitfulness towards Him
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
