1Samuel ; Chapter 15 Verse 7 -11
7 Then Saul attacked the Amalekites all the way from Havilah to Shur, near the eastern border of Egypt. 8 He took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and all his people he totally destroyed with the sword. 9 But Saul and the army spared Agag and the best of the sheep and cattle, the fat calves and lambs—everything that was good. These they were unwilling to destroy completely, but everything that was despised and weak they totally destroyed.
10 Then the word of the Lord came to Samuel: 11 “I regret that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me and has not carried out my instructions.” Samuel was angry, and he cried out to the Lord all that night.
7 ساؤل نے عمالیقیوں کوشکست دی۔ وہ ان سے لڑا اور ان کا پیچھا حویلہ سے شور تک کیا جو مصر کی سرحد پر ہے۔ 8 اجاج عمالیقیوں کا بادشاہ تھا۔ساؤل نے اجاج کو زندہ گرفتار کیا۔ ساؤل نے اجاج کو زندہ چھو ڑا لیکن اجاج کی فوج کے تمام آدمیوں کومار ڈا لا۔ 9 ساؤل اور اسرا ئیلی سپا ہیوں نے ہر ایک چیز کو تباہ کرنا نہیں چا ہا ، اس لئے ان لوگوں نے اجاج اور سب سے اچھے بھیڑوں، مویشیوں اور جو کچھ بھی اچھا تھا اسے زندہ چھو ڑدیا۔ یعنی کہ جانوروں کو جو فائدہ مند تھے اسے زندہ رکھا اور جو کمزور اور بیکار تھے انہیں تباہ کر دیا۔
سموئیل کا ساؤل کے گناہوں کے متعلق کہنا
10 تب سموئیل کو خداوند سے ایک پیغام ملا۔ 11 خداوند نے کہا ، “ساؤل نے میرے کہنے پر عمل کرنا چھو ڑدیا۔ اس لئے میں رنجیدہ ہوں کہ میں نے اس کو بادشاہ بنا یا۔ میں جو کچھ اسکو کہتا ہوں وہ نہیں کر رہا ہے۔” تب سموئیل بہت غصہ میں آیا اور خداوند کو پو ری رات پکا را۔
My point of view about above verses
Samuel told Saul that God say as I have anointed you as king over my people so that you have to fight Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Don’t spare them put to death men and women, children and infants and all type of cattle
Saul didn’t destroy cattle of Amalekites
God became angry with Saul as he did not act fully on the instructions given by God
Ww need to obey God with our heart, mind, soul and body
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
