1 Kings ; Chapter 14 Verse 10-11
10 “‘Because of this, I am going to bring disaster on the house of Jeroboam. I will cut off from Jeroboam every last male in Israel—slave or free. I will burn up the house of Jeroboam as one burns dung, until it is all gone. 11 Dogs will eat those belonging to Jeroboam who die in the city, and the birds will feed on those who die in the country. The Lord has spoken!’
10 اس لئے اے یُر بعام میں تمہارے خاندان پر مصیبت لاؤنگا۔ میں تمہارے خاندان کے تمام آدمیوں کو مار ڈا لوں گا۔ میں تمہارے خاندان کو مکمل طور سے تباہ کر دوں گا جس طرح آ گ گائے کے گوبر کو پوری طرح سے تباہ کر دیتی ہے۔ 11 اگر تمہارے خاندان کا کوئی بھی آدمی شہر میں مر جائے تو اس کو کتے کھا ئیں گے اور تمہارے خاندان کا کوئی آدمی اگر میدان میں مر جائے تو پرندے کھائیں گے۔ خدا وند نے کہا ہے۔ ”
My point of view about above verses
God told Ahijah that wife of King Jeroboam is coming to you to ask about her son who is sick – when she arrives she will pretend to be someone else
When she arrives to Ahijah he said come king’s wife why you are pretending – there is message for you from God, go and tell Jeroboam that I have raised you up to rule my people Israel but you are not as faithful as my servant David was – you have done more evil than all who lived before you- you have made for yourselves gods of metal and aroused my anger
So I the Lord will bring disaster on Jeroboam house- I will cut all last male in Israel of Jeroboam house- and burn his house as one burns dung – Dogs will eat those from his family who die in city and birds will feed on those who die in country
God gets angry if we do things which He detests / hates
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
