2 Chronicles ; Chapter 26 verse 16-21
16 But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense. 17 Azariah the priest with eighty other courageous priests of the Lord followed him in. 18 They confronted King Uzziah and said, “It is not right for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord. That is for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who have been consecrated to burn incense. Leave the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful; and you will not be honored by the Lord God.”
19 Uzziah, who had a censer in his hand ready to burn incense, became angry. While he was raging at the priests in their presence before the incense altar in the Lord’s temple, leprosy broke out on his forehead. 20 When Azariah the chief priest and all the other priests looked at him, they saw that he had leprosy on his forehead, so they hurried him out. Indeed, he himself was eager to leave, because the Lord had afflicted him.
21 King Uzziah had leprosy until the day he died. He lived in a separate house leprous, and banned from the temple of the Lord. Jotham his son had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.
16 لیکن جب عُزّیاہ طا قتور ہو گیا تو اس کے غرور نے اس کو تباہ کیا۔ وہ خدا وند اپنے خدا کے خلاف گناہ کیا۔ وہ خدا وند کی ہیکل میں اور قربان گاہ میں بخور جلانے کے لئے گیا۔ 17 کاہن عزر یاہ اور ۸۰ بہادر کاہن جو خدا وند کی خدمت کرتے تھے وہ عزیاہ کے ساتھ ہیکل میں گئے۔ 18 وہ لوگ عز یاہ کے روبرو ہوئے۔ انہوں نے اس کو کہا ، ’ ' عزیاہ ! یہ تمہارا کام نہیں ہے کہ خدا وند کے لئے خوشبو جلا ئے۔ ایسا کر نا تمہارے لئے اچھا نہیں۔ وہ کاہنوں اور ہارون کی نسل ہی ہیں جو خدا وند کے لئے خوشبو جلا تے ہیں۔ وہی لوگ ہیں جو مقدس خدمت اور خوشبو جلا نے کے لئے مخصوص کئے گئے ہیں۔ مُقدس ترین جگہ سے باہر جاؤ تم اطا عت گزار نہیں رہے خدا وند خدا تم کو اس کے لئے عزت نہیں دیگا !” 19 لیکن عُزّیاہ غصہ میں آیا اس کے ہاتھ میں خوشبو جلانے کے لئے کٹو رہ تھا۔ جس وقت عزیاہ کاہنوں پر غصہ میں تھا۔ اس وقت اس کی پیشانی پر کو ڑھ پھو ٹ پڑا۔ یہ واقعہ خدا وند کے ہیکل میں بخور کی قربان گاہ پر کاہنوں کے سامنے ہوا۔ 20 کاہنوں کا قائد عزریاہ اور تمام کاہنوں نے عزیاہ کو دیکھا وہ اس کی پیشانی پر جذام دیکھ سکتے تھے۔ کاہنوں نے جلدی سے عزیاہ کو ہیکل کے باہر جانے کے لئے مجبور کیا۔ عُزّیاہ نے خود جلدی کی کیوں کہ خدا وند نے اسکو سزا دی تھی۔ 21 کیوں کے بادشاہ عزیاہ مرنے تک کو ڑ ھ کی بیماری میں مبتلا رہا اور وہ ایک الگ گھر میں رہتا تھا وہ خدا وند کی ہیکل کے اندر داخل نہیں ہو سکتا تھا۔ عُزیاہ کے بیٹے یو تام نے شاہی محل کے آدمیوں کو قابو میں رکھا اور حکمراں بن گیا۔
My point of view about above verses
Man of God told people that God has power to overthrow or help
Uzziah sought Lord so God gave him success
When king Uzzaih tried to burn incense in temple of Lord while it was duty of Aaron’s descendants and because of his pride he was not listening to priests so leprosy broke out on his forehead and till the time of his death he is banned from the temple of the Lord and his son governed people of land
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
