2 Chronicles ; Chapter 28 verse 1-5
Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. Unlike David his father, he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord. 2 He followed the ways of the kings of Israel and also made idols for worshiping the Baals. 3 He burned sacrifices in the Valley of Ben Hinnom and sacrificed his children in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites. 4 He offered sacrifices and burned incense at the high places, on the hilltops and under every spreading tree.
5 Therefore the Lord his God delivered him into the hands of the king of Aram. The Arameans defeated him and took many of his people as prisoners and brought them to Damascus.
یہوداہ کا بادشاہ آخز
28 جب آخز بادشاہوا تو وہ ۲۰ سال کا تھا۔ اس نے یروشلم میں۱۶ سال حکومت کی۔آخز اپنے آبا ؤ اجداد کی طرح سچا ئی سے نہیں رہا جیسا کہ خداوند نے چا ہا تھا۔ 2 آخز اسرائیلی بادشا ہو ں کے برے راستوں پر چلا۔ اس نے بعل دیوتا کی عبادت کے لئے مورتیاں بنانے کے لئے سانچے کا استعمال کیا۔ 3 آخز نےبن ہنوم کی وادی میں بخور جلائے۔اس نے اپنے بیٹوں کو آ گ میں جلا کر قربانی پیش کی۔اس نے وہ تمام خوفناک گناہ کئے جسے اس ملک میں رہنے وا لے آدمیوں نے کیا تھا۔خداوند نے ان آدمیو ں کو باہرجانے کے لئے مجبور کیا تھا جب اسرائیل کے لوگ اس سر زمین پر آئے تھے۔ 4 آخز نے پہاڑی پر اعلیٰ جگہو ں پر اور ہر درخت کے نیچے قربانی پیش کی اور بخور جلا ئے۔ 5-6 آخز نے گناہ کئے اس لئے خداوند اس کے خدا نے ارام کے بادشا ہ کو اسے شکست دینے دیا۔ارام کے بادشا ہ اوراس کی فوج نے آخزکو شکست دی اور یہودا ہ کے کئی لوگوں کو قیدی بنایا ارام کے بادشا ہ نے ان قیدیوں کو شہر دمشق لے گیا۔
My point of view about above verses
Azah didn't obey God rather burned sacrifices for other gods so Lord delivered him into the hands of king of Aram
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
