2 Chronicles ; Chapter 28 verse 6- 11
He was also given into the hands of the king of Israel, who inflicted heavy casualties on him. 6 In one day Pekah son of Remaliah killed a hundred and twenty thousand soldiers in Judah—because Judah had forsaken the Lord, the God of their ancestors. 7 Zikri, an Ephraimite warrior, killed Maaseiah the king’s son, Azrikam the officer in charge of the palace, and Elkanah, second to the king. 8 The men of Israel took captive from their fellow Israelites who were from Judah two hundred thousand wives, sons and daughters. They also took a great deal of plunder, which they carried back to Samaria.
9 But a prophet of the Lord named Oded was there, and he went out to meet the army when it returned to Samaria. He said to them, “Because the Lord, the God of your ancestors, was angry with Judah, he gave them into your hand. But you have slaughtered them in a rage that reaches to heaven. 10 And now you intend to make the men and women of Judah and Jerusalem your slaves. But aren’t you also guilty of sins against the Lord your God? 11 Now listen to me! Send back your fellow Israelites you have taken as prisoners, for the Lord’s fierce anger rests on you.”
خداوند نے اسرائیل کے بادشا ہ فقح کو بھی آخز کو شکست دینے دیا۔فقح کے باپ کا نام رملیاہ تھا۔ فقح اور اس کی فوج نے ایک دن میں یہودا ہ کے ۱۲۰۰۰۰ بہادر سپا ہیوں کو مار ڈا لا۔کیو ں کہ اس نے خداوند خدا کے احکام کو نہیں مانا جسکی احکام کی تعمیل انکے آبا ء واجداد کرتے تھے۔ 7 زکری افرائیم کا ایک بہادر فوجی تھا۔زکری نے بادشا ہ آخز کے بیٹے معسیاہ کو ، بادشا ہ کے محل کے نگراں کار عہدے دار عزر یقام کو اور بادشا ہ کے دوسرے درجے کے سپہ سالار القانہ کو مار ڈا لا۔ 8 اسرائیلی فوج نے یہودا ہ میں رہنے وا لے انکے ۰۰۰,۲۰۰ رشتے داروں کو پکڑا۔ انہوں نے عورتیں ، بچے اور یہودا ہ سے بہت قیمتی چیزیں لیں۔ بنی اسرائیلی ان قیدیوں اور ان چیزوں کو سامریہ شہر کو لے گئے۔ 9 لیکن وہاں خداوند کے نبیوں میں سے ایک نبی وہاں تھا۔اس نبی کانام عودید تھا۔عودید اسرائیلی فوج سے ملا جو کہ سامریہ واپس آئی تھیں۔عودید نے اسرائیل کی فوج سے کہا، “خداوند خدا جسکی تمہا رے آبا ء واجداد نے اطاعت کی اس نے تم کو یہودا ہ کے لوگوں کو شکست دینے دی کیو ں کہ وہ ان پر غصہ میں تھا۔تم نے یہودا ہ کے لوگوں کو بہت کمینگی سے سزادی اور مار ڈا لا اب خدا تم پر غصہ میں ہے۔ 10 تم یہودا ہ اور یروشلم کے لوگو ں کو غلاموں کی طرح رکھنے کا منصوبہ بنا رہے ہو تم لوگو ں نے بھی خداونداپنے خدا کے خلاف گناہ کیا ہے۔ 11 اب میری بات سُنو، “اپنے جن بھا ئی بہنو ں کو تم لوگو ں نے قیدی بنایا ہے انہیں واپس کردو۔ اسے کرو کیونکہ خداوند کا بھیانک غصّہ تمہا رے خلاف ہے۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Obed as I was angry with with Judah so I hand them over to Israel but you have slaughtered them in rage that reaches to heaven and now your intension is to make them slaves. You are also guilty of sin against the Lord so send them back otherwise god’s fierce anger rests on you
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
