2 Chronicles ; Chapter 33 verse 10- 13
10 The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention. 11 So the Lord brought against them the army commanders of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon. 12 In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors. 13 And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.
10 خدا وند نے منسی اور اس کے لوگوں سے بات چیت کی لیکن انہوں نے سننے سے انکار کر دیا۔ 11 اس لئے خدا وند نے اسور کے بادشاہ کے سپہ سالاروں کو یہوداہ پر حملہ کر نے کے لئے بھیجا۔ ان سپہ سالاروں نے منسسی کو پکڑ لیا اور اسے قیدی بنا لیا۔ انہوں نے اس کو بیڑیاں پہنا دیں اور اس کے ہاتھوں میں پیتل کی زنجیر ڈا لی۔ انہوں نے منسّی کو قیدی بنا یا اور اسے ملک بابل لے گئے۔ 12 منسّی کو تکلیف ہوئی اس وقت اس نے خدا وند اپنے خدا سے مدد مانگی۔ منسّی نے اپنے آپ کو اپنے آباؤ اجداد کے خدا کے سامنے خاکسار کیا۔ 13 منسّی نے خدا سے دعا کی اور خدا سے مدد مانگی۔ خدا وند نے منسّی کی طلب کو سنا اور اس پر رحم کیا۔ خدا وند نے اس کو یروشلم کو اسکے تخت پر واپس جانے دیا۔ تب منسّی نے جانا کہ خدا وند ہی سچّا خدا ہے۔
My point of view about above verses
Manasseh didn't obey God so he handed him over to king Assyria but when he humbled himself before the God – so He brought him back to his kingdom
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
