The Lord’s Anger Against Israel
18 Surely wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns, it sets the forest thickets ablaze, so that it rolls upward in a column of smoke.
18 برائی ایک آگ کی مانند جلتی ہے۔ سب سے پہلے یہ کانٹوں اور گھاس پھوس کو نگلتی ہے۔ تب پھر یہ بڑی جھا ڑیوں اور جنگلوں کو جلاتی ہے۔ آخر میں یہ ایک بڑی آگ کی شکل اختیار کر لیتی ہے اور ہر کچھ دھواں میں اوپر چلی جاتی ہے۔
My point of view about above verses
God is angry with those people who are ungodly and lead their lives wickedly and punish them
Wickedness burns like a fire – it consumes everything- first grass, then trees and sets the forest on ablaze and smoke rolls upward
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
