Isaiah 10, verse 15-19

God’s Judgment on Assyria
15 Does the ax raise itself above the person who swings it, or the saw boast against the one who uses it? As if a rod were to wield the person who lifts it up, or a club brandish the one who is not wood! 16 Therefore, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will send a wasting disease upon his sturdy warriors; under his pomp a fire will be kindled like a blazing flame. 17 The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame; in a single day it will burn and consume his thorns and his briers. 18 The splendor of his forests and fertile fields it will completely destroy, as when a sick person wastes away. 19 And the remaining trees of his forests will be so few that a child could write them down.
خدا کااسور کے غرور کو سزا دینا
15 کیا ایک کلہاڑی اس کے رو برو جو اس سے کاٹتا ہے اس سے بر تر ہو نے کا دعویٰ کر سکتا ہے ؟اسی طرح سے کیا ایک آرہ آرہ کش کے سامنے اس سے زیادہ اہم ہو نے کا دعویٰ کر سکتا ہے ؟ یہ ایسا ہی ہے جیسے کسی چھڑی کا یہ سوچنا کہ وہ اس شخص سے زیادہ اہم ہے جو اسی کو استعمال کر تا ہے۔اور دوسروں کو اس سے سزادیتا ہے یا کسی لا ٹھی کا یہ سوچنا کہ وہ اس شخص کو سہا را دیتا ہے جو اسے رکھتا ہے اور وہ بھی زیادہ اہم ہے۔ 16 اس سبب سے خداوند قادر مطلق اسور کے جوان جنگجو پر خوفناک بیماری بھیجے گا اور اس کی شان وشوکت اور عزت کو جلا ڈالنے کے لئے ایک بھیانک آ گ بھڑکا ئے گا۔ 17 اسرا ئیل کا نور (خدا ) ایک آگ کی مانند ہو گا اور اس کا قدوس ایک شعلہ کی مانند ثابت ہو گا جو اسور کے بادشا ہ کا غرور کانٹے دار جھاڑیو ں اور گھاس کی طرح ایک دن میں جلا کر راکھ کردیگا۔
18 خداوند قدوس سبھی بڑے بڑے درختوں اور تاکستانوں کو جلا ڈا لے گا اور آخر میں سب کچھ تباہ ہو جا ئے گا۔ یہ اس وقت کی مانند ہو گا جب ایک بیمار شخص بھی سڑ گل جا ئے گا۔ 19 جنگل میں ہو سکتا ہے تھوڑے سے پیڑ کھڑے رہ جا ئیں وہ تھوڑے سے ہو ں گے کہ انہیں کو ئی بچہ بھی شُمار کر سکتا ہے۔
My point of view about above verses
God says I am sorry for Assyrian- who is rod of my anger & i will use them to punish Israelites
God’s purpose is to use Assyrians to put an end to many nations
When God use people they start taking it with pride - which is not liked by God - they should only think that they are servants of God
God says I will punish the king of Assyria for the pride of his heart and arrogant look in his eyes
God said king of Assyria thinks that because of his own wisdom and mighty hands he expanded the boundaries of nations and reached for their wealth
God said can ax raise without hand or the saw – so his all troops will be consumed in a single day with the blazing flame of Israelites
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
