Jeremiah 7, verse 12-15

12 “‘Go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for my Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel. 13 While you were doing all these things, declares the Lord, I spoke to you again and again, but you did not listen; I called you, but you did not answer. 14 Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors. 15 I will thrust you from my presence, just as I did all your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.’
12 “پس اب میرے اس مکان کو جا ؤ جو شیلاہ میں تھا۔ جہاں پر میں نے اپنے نام کو قائم کیا تھا۔ اور اس پر غور کرو کہ میں نے شیلاہ میں بنی اسرائیلیوں کے بُرے کام کے سبب سے کیا کیا تھا۔ 13 “بنی اسرا ئیلیو! تم لوگ یہ سب برے کام کرتے رہے۔” یہ پیغام خداوند کا تھا۔ میں نے تم سے با ر بار باتیں کیں، “لیکن تم نے میری ان سنی کر دی۔ میں نے تم لوگوں کو پکا را، مگر تم نے جواب نہیں دیا۔ 14 اس لئے میں اپنے نام سے پکارے جانے وا لے یروشلم کے اس گھر کو فنا کروں گا۔ میں اس گھر کو ویسے ہی فنا کروں گا۔جیسے میں نے شیلاہ میں فنا کیا تھا۔ اور یروشلم میں وہ گھر جو میرے نام پر ہے اور جس پر تم یقین کر تے ہو۔ میں اس جگہ کو تبا ہ کروں گا جسے میں نے تمہیں اور تمہا رے باپ دادا کو دی تھی۔ 15 میں تمہیں اپنے پاس سے ویسے ہی دور پھینک دو ں گا۔ جیسے میں نے تمہا رے سبھی بھا ئیوں کو افرائیم سے پھینکا۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told Jeremiah that stand at the gate of Lord’s house and proclaim this message
God says do not think that you are in my tample and do whatever you want rather
do good with widows, fatherless and foreigners, do not shed innocent blood and deal justly and do not worship other gods then i will let you live near my tample
God said you will steal, murder and lie and then enter my house - do you thinks its a place of living for robers - i am watching you
God said i will destroy this temple as i destroyed before and throw you out as i throw out people of Epharim
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
