Jeremiah 9, verse 12-16

12 Who is wise enough to understand this? Who has been instructed by the Lord and can explain it? Why has the land been ruined and laid waste like a desert that no one can cross?
13 The Lord said, “It is because they have forsaken my law, which I set before them; they have not obeyed me or followed my law. 14 Instead, they have followed the stubbornness of their hearts; they have followed the Baals, as their ancestors taught them.” 15 Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “See, I will make this people eat bitter food and drink poisoned water. 16 I will scatter them among nations that neither they nor their ancestors have known, and I will pursue them with the sword until I have made an end of them.”
12 کیا کوئی شخص ایسا دانشمند ہے جو ان باتوں کو سمجھ سکے؟ کیا کوئی ایسا شخص ہے جسے خدا وند سے شریعت ملی ہے؟ کیا کوئی خدا وند کے پیغام کی تشریح کر سکتا ہے؟ ملک کیوں فنا ہوا؟ یہ سر زمین کس لئے ویران ہوئی اور بیابان کی مانند جل گئی کہ کوئی اس میں قدم نہیں رکھتا؟
13 خدا وند نے ان سوالوں کا جواب دیا۔ اس نے کہا، “یہ اس لئے ہوا کہ یہوداہ کے لوگوں نے میری تعلیمات پر چلنا چھو ڑ دیا۔ میں نے انہیں اپنی تعلیمات دی، لیکن انہوں نے میری بات سننے سے انکار کیا۔ انہوں نے میری تعلیمات کی پیر وی نہیں کی۔ 14 یہوداہ کے لوگ اپنی راہ چلے، وہ ضدّی ہیں۔ انہوں نے جھو ٹے خدا وند بعل کی پیر وی کی۔ انکے باپ دادا نے انہیں جھوٹے خداؤں کی پیر وی کرنے کی تعلیم دی۔”
15 اس لئے اسرائیل کا خدا، خدا وند قادر مطلق فرماتا ہے، “میں جلد ہی یہوداہ کے لوگوں کو کڑوا پھل چکھا ؤں گا۔ میں انہیں زہریلا پانی پلاؤں گا۔ 16 میں یہوداہ کے لوگوں کو دیگر قوموں میں بکھیر دوں گا۔ وہ اجنبی قوموں میں رہیں گے۔ انہوں نے اور انکے باپ دادا نے ان ملکوں کو کبھی نہیں جانا۔ میں تلوار لئے لوگوں کو بھیجوں گا۔ وہ لوگ یہوداہ کے لوگوں کو مار ڈالیں گے۔ وہ لوگوں کو اس وقت تک مارتے جائیں گے جب تک وہ ختم نہیں ہوجائیں گے۔”
My point of view about above verses
God said beware of people who lies either they are your family members or friends - they make themselves tired by sinning - no one speaks the truth
God says I will punish all those who says something and do something else
God says because of your wickedness i will make your place desolate so that no one lives there
God says they will be killed by others as they did not abide my law which I have given them
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this word and prophets - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
