Leviticus 24 verse 5-9
Olive Oil and Bread Set Before the Lord
5 “Take the finest flour and bake twelve loaves of bread, using two-tenths of an ephah for each loaf. 6 Arrange them in two stacks, six in each stack, on the table of pure gold before the Lord. 7 By each stack put some pure incense as a memorial portion to represent the bread and to be a food offering presented to the Lord. 8 This bread is to be set out before the Lord regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath, on behalf of the Israelites, as a lasting covenant. 9 It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in the sanctuary area, because it is a most holy part of their perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the Lord.”
(5)اور تُو مَیدہ لے کر بارہ گِردے پکانا ۔ ہر ایک گِردہ میں اَیفہ کے دو دہائی حِصّہ کے برابر مَیدہ ہو۔
(6)اور تُو اُن کو دو قطاریں کر کے ہر قطار میں چھ چھ روٹیاں پاک میز پر خُداوند کے حضُور رکھنا۔
(7)اور تُو ہر ایک قطار پر خالِص لُبان رکھنا تاکہ وہ روٹی پر یادگاری یعنی خُداوند کے حضُور آتِشِین قُربانی کے طَور پر ہو۔
(8)وہ سدا ہر سبت کے روز اُن کو خُداوند کے حضُور ترتِیب دِیا کرے کیونکہ یہ بنی اِسرائیل کی جانِب سے ایک دائِمی عہد ہے۔
(9)اور یہ روٹیاں ہارُون اور اُس کے بیٹوں کی ہوں گی ۔ وہ اِن کو کِسی پاک جگہ میں کھائیں کیونکہ وہ ایک جاوِدانی آئِین کے مُطابِق خُداوند کی آتِشِین قُربانیوں میں سے ہارُون کے لِئے نِہایت پاک ہیں۔
My point of view about above verses
God told to make 12 cakes or loaves of bread from finest flour - and each cake of is made of same qty of flour and 6 cakes put in one row and 6 on another row on a table made of gold - This 12 loaves of bread represent 12 tribes of Israelite - God likes to do things in orderly form This is food for Aaron and his sons who eat it in sanctuary area as it is the most holy part. This is a regular food offering to be arranged on each sabbath day
God wants his people to built a relationship with him and serve him on daily basis
We need to live in this world as God wants us to live - we have to do what he is telling us to do- as there is
rejoicing in obeying Him
May God inclined us to obey his words to lead our lives the way God wants us to live on this earth -
May God bless all those who are obeying His commandments
