Numbers 2 ; verse 1-9
The Arrangement of the Tribal Camps
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2 “The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.” 3 On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab. 4 His division numbers 74,600.5 The tribe of Issachar will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar. 6 His division numbers 54,400.
7 The tribe of Zebulun will be next. The leader of the people of Zebulun is Eliab son of Helon. 8 His division numbers 57,400. 9 All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.
(1)اور خُداوند نے مُوسیٰ اور ہارُون سے کہا کہ۔
(2)بنی اِسرائیل اپنے اپنے ڈیرے اپنے اپنے جھنڈے کے پاس اور اپنے اپنے آبائی خاندان کے عَلم کے ساتھ خَیمۂِ اِجتماع کے مُقابِل اور اُس کے گِرداگِرد لگائیں۔
(3)اور جو مشرِق کی طرف جِدھر سے سُورج نِکلتا ہے اپنے ڈیرے اپنے دَلوں کے مُطابِق لگائیں وہ یہُوداہ کی چھاؤنی کے جھنڈے کے لوگ ہوں اورعمِّیندا ب کا بیٹا نحسو ن بنی یہُوداہ کا سردار ہو۔
(4)اور اُس کے دَل کے لوگ جو شُمار کِئے گئے تھے وہ سب چوہتّر ہزار چھ سَو تھے۔
(5)اور اِن کے قرِیب اِشکار کے قبِیلہ کے لوگ ڈیرے ڈالیں اور ضُغر کا بیٹا نتنی ایل بنی اِشکارکا سردار ہو۔
(6)اور اُس کے دَل کے لوگ جو شُمار کِئے گئے تھے چوّن ہزار چار سَو تھے۔
(7)پِھر زبُولُون کا قبِیلہ ہو اور حیلو ن کا بیٹا الِیا ب بنی زبُولُون کا سردار ہو۔
(8)اور اُس کے دَل کے لوگ جو شُمار کِئے گئے تھے وہ ستّاون ہزار چار سَو تھے۔
(9)سو جِتنے یہُوداہ کی چھاؤنی میں اپنے اپنے دَل کے مُطابِق گِنے گئے وہ ایک لاکھ چھیاسی ہزار چار سَو تھے ۔ پہلے یِہی کُوچ کِیا کریں۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses in Mount Sinai after one year of their exodus / departure from Egypt to count all Israelite by tribes and encamp around tabernacle - As tabernacle was in middle - the twelve tribes of Israelite has to arrange themselves as East, West, South and north - God started from East side and tell tribe of Judah to encamp east side of tabernacle having a number of 74, 600 followed by two other tribes Issachar and Zebulun having numbers of 54, 400 and 57,400 respectively- So total number of Judah division is 186, 400 encamping towards east of tabernacle -
This division is first to move - God also tells the names of leaders who can lead their men-
So God started the journey of Israelite from Egypt to Canaan in an organized manner and not like a mob
God tells them that how to organize themselves to achieve the goals - He is organized God and want us to organize our lives as per his laws
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
