Numbers 4 ; verse 12- 15
The Kohathites
12 “They are to take all the articles used for ministering in the sanctuary, wrap them in a blue cloth, cover that with the durable leather and put them on a carrying frame.
13 “They are to remove the ashes from the bronze altar and spread a purple cloth over it. 14 Then they are to place on it all the utensils used for ministering at the altar, including the fire pans, meat forks, shovels and sprinkling bowls. Over it they are to spread a covering of the durable leather and put the poles in place.
15 “After Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy furnishings and all the holy articles, and when the camp is ready to move, only then are the Kohathites to come and do the carrying. But they must not touch the holy things or they will die. The Kohathites are to carry those things that are in the tent of meeting.
(12)اور سب ظُروف کو جو مَقدِس کی خِدمت کے کام میں آتے ہیں لے کر اُن کو آسمانی رنگ کے کپڑے میں لپیٹیں اور اُن کو تُخس کی کھالوں کے ایک غِلاف سے ڈھانک کر چَوکھٹے پر دھریں۔
(13)پِھر وہ مذبح پر سے سب راکھ کو اُٹھا کر اُس کے اُوپر ارغوانی رنگ کا کپڑا بِچھائیں۔
(14)اُس کے سب برتن جِن سے اُس کی خِدمت کرتے ہیں جَیسے انگِیٹِھیاں اور سِیخیں اور بیلچے اور کٹورے غرض مذبح کے سب برتن اُس پر رکھّیں اور اُس پر تُخس کی کھالوں کا ایک غِلاف بِچھائیں اور مذبح میں چوبیں لگائیں۔
(15)اور جب ہارُون اور اُس کے بیٹے مَقدِس کو اور مَقدِس کے سب اسباب کو ڈھانک چُکیں تب خَیمہ گاہ کے کُوچ کے وقت بنی قہات اُس کے اُٹھانے کے لِئے آئیں ۔ لیکن وہ مَقدِس کو نہ چُھوئیں تا نہ ہو کہ وہ مَر جائیں ۔ خَیمۂِ اِجتماع کی یِہی چِیزیں بنی قہات کے اُٹھانے کی ہیں۔
My point of view about above verses
God told Moses to count all men who are 30 years and above till 50 years of age of Kohathites clan of Levites to perform duties for tent of meeting - However Aaron and his sons has to go inside the most holy place -
Aaron and his sons to pack all furnishings of most holy place in a way told by God himself and then the Kohathites has to carry them through poles to travel and not to touch holy things as if they do so - they will die
God assigned specific duties to people - we need to perform those in that specific way to make him happy
Let God give us wisdom to understand his word and apply it in our lives
