Numbers 18 ; verse 1-4

Duties of Priests and Levites

The Lord said to Aaron, “You, your sons and your family are to bear the responsibility for offenses connected with the sanctuary, and you and your sons alone are to bear the responsibility for offenses connected with the priesthood. 2 Bring your fellow Levites from your ancestral tribe to join you and assist you when you and your sons minister before the tent of the covenant law. 3 They are to be responsible to you and are to perform all the duties of the tent, but they must not go near the furnishings of the sanctuary or the altar. Otherwise both they and you will die. 4 They are to join you and be responsible for the care of the tent of meeting—all the work at the tent—and no one else may come near where you are.

کاہنوں اور لاوی نسلوں کے کام

18 خداوند نے ہارون سے کہا ، “تم اور تمہارے بیٹے اور تمہارے باپ کا خاندان مقدس جگہ سے متعلق کئے جانے والے کسی بھی بُرے عمل کے لئے جواب دہ ہوگے۔ تم اور تمہارے بیٹے اُن بُرائیوں کے لئے جواب دہ ہوگے جو کاہنت کے خلاف کی گئی ہیں۔ 2 دُوسرے لاوی نسلوں کے لوگوں کو اپنا ساتھ دینے کے لئے اپنے خاندانی گروہ سے لاؤ۔ وہ تمہاری اور تمہارے بیٹوں کی مدد معاہدے کے مقدس خیمہ کے کاموں کے کرنے میں کریں گے۔ 3 لاوی خاندان کے وہ لوگ تمہارے قابو میں ہیں۔وہ اُن تمام کاموں کو کریں گے جنہیں خیمہ میں کیا جانا ہے۔ لیکن اُنہیں قربان گاہ یا مُقدس جگہ کی چیزوں کے پاس نہیں جانا چاہئے۔ اگر وہ ایسا کریں گے تو مر جائیں گے۔ اور تم بھی مر جاؤ گے۔ 4 وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہوں گے اور تمہارے ساتھ کام کریں گے وہ خیمہٴ اجتماع کی دیکھ بھال کرنے کے جواب دہ ہونگے۔ سب کام جنہیں خیمہ میں کیا جانا چاہئے وہ کریں گے۔ دُوسرا کوئی بھی اس جگہ کے قریب نہیں جائے گا۔ جہاں تم ہو۔

My point of view about above verses

God told Moses tell Aaron and his sons that you are responsible for sanctuary and tent of meeting. Bring your fellow Levites to assist you, they are responsible to you but they should not go near furnishing of the sanctuary or to the altar otherwise both of you will die

God assign duties of tabernacle and tent of meeting to Aaron and his sons and they are allowed to use people from Levi tribe - but at the most holy place no body is allowed except priest (Aaron and his sons) - we need to obey God

Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
