Numbers 25 ; verse 1-3
Moab Seduces Israel
While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality with Moabite women, 2 who invited them to the sacrifices to their gods. The people ate the sacrificial meal and bowed down before these gods. 3 So Israel yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor. And the Lord’s anger burned against them.
بنی اسرا ئیل ابھی تک کا ہنیا میں ٹھہرے ہوئے تھے۔ اس وقت وہ لو گ موآبی عورتوں کے ساتھ جنسی گناہ کرنے لگے۔ 2 موآبی دشمنوں نے مردو ں کو آنے اور اپنے جھو ٹے خدا ؤں کو قربانی چڑھانے میں مدد کرنے کے لئے مدعو کیا۔ اس لئے لوگوں نے وہاں کھانا کھا یا اور جھو ٹے خدا ؤں کی عبادت کی۔ بنی اسرا ئیل اسی طرح جھو ٹے خدا ؤں کی عبادت میں شامل ہو ئے۔ 3 بنی اسرا ئیل بعل فغور کی عبادت کرنا شروع کئے۔ اور خداوند ان پر بہت غصّہ ہو ئے۔
My point of view about above verses
Moab is a region to enter in promised land - its todays Jordan, When Israel involved them in sexual immorality with Moabite women – who invited them to the sacrifice to their gods, God’s anger burned against them
if we turn away from God's way of life - He got angry - So we have to be on the way described in Word of God to stay blessed
Let God give us wisdom to understand His word and help us to apply it in our lives
