Deuteronomy 25 ; verse 17-19
17 Remember what the Amalekites did to you along the way when you came out of Egypt. 18 When you were weary and worn out, they met you on your journey and attacked all who were lagging behind; they had no fear of God. 19 When the Lord your God gives you rest from all the enemies around you in the land he is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you shall blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven. Do not forget!
عمالیقی لوگوں کو تباہ کر دیا جا ئیگا
17 “یاد کرو جب تم مصر سے آئے تھے تب عمالیقی لوگوں نے تمہا رے ساتھ کیا کیا۔ 18 عمالیقی لوگوں نے خدا کی عزّت نہیں کی تھی۔ انہوں نے تم پر اس وقت حملہ کیا تھا جب تم مصر سے آ تے ہو ئے راستے میں تھکے ہو ئے اور کمزور تھے۔ انہوں نے تمہا رے ان سب لوگوں کو مار ڈا لا جو تمہا رے پیچھے چل رہے تھے۔ 19 اس لئے تم لوگوں کو عمالیقی لوگوں کے نام ونشان کو دنیا سے مٹا دینا چا ہئے ایسا تم لوگ اس وقت کرو گے جب اس ملک میں جا ؤگے جسے خداوند تمہا را خدا تمہیں دے رہا ہے وہاں وہ تمہیں تمہا رے چاروں طرف کے دشمنوں سے چھٹکا رہ دلا ئے گا لیکن عمالیقیوں کو تباہ کرنا نہ بھو لو۔
My point of view about above verses
Don’t be kind to Amalekites – Remember what they did to you when you came out of Egypt
When you find peace in land I am giving you – blot out their name under heaven
God remembers bad things done by others to people He cares or loved - and asks his own people to take revenge on such people
We should love people whom God loves so that we be fruitful in our earthly life
Our God want us to spend a joyful life on earth, only we need to follow what He says and believe me there is happiness around us - Righteous acts brings happiness for us - Lets do and enjoy life
-These are the orders given by God for our ultimate good and we all have to follow
May God give us wisdom to understand His Word and apply it in our lives
