2 Kings ; Chapter 17 Verse 11,12-18-20
11 At every high place they burned incense, as the nations whom the Lord had driven out before them had done. They did wicked things that aroused the Lord’s anger. 12 They worshiped idols, though the Lord had said, “You shall not do this.” 13 The Lord warned Israel and Judah through all his prophets and seers: “Turn from your evil ways. Observe my commands and decrees, in accordance with the entire Law that I commanded your ancestors to obey and that I delivered to you through my servants the prophets.”
18 So the Lord was very angry with Israel and removed them from his presence. Only the tribe of Judah was left, 19 and even Judah did not keep the commands of the Lord their God. They followed the practices Israel had introduced. 20 Therefore the Lord rejected all the people of Israel; he afflicted them and gave them into the hands of plunderers, until he thrust them from his presence.
1 اسرائیلیوں نے ان تمام عبادت کی جگہوں پر بخور جلائے۔انہوں نے یہ سب کام ان قوموں کی طرح کیا جنہیں خدا وند نے سر زمین سے باہر کیا تھا۔ اسرائیلیوں نے ایسے کام کئے جس سے خدا وند کو غصہ آیا۔ 12 انہوں نے مورتیوں کی پرستش اور اسکی خدمت کی حالانکہ خدا وند نے ان اسرائیلیوں سے کہا تھا ، “تم ویسا کام مت کرو۔”
18 اس لئے خدا وند اسرائیل پر بہت غصہ میں آیا اور انہیں اپنی نظروں سے دور کردیا۔ کوئی بھی اسرائیلی نہیں چھو ٹا سوائے یہوداہ کے خاندانی گروہ کے۔
یہوداہ کے لوگ بھی قصوروار ہیں
19 اس طرح یہوداہ کے لوگوں نے بھی خدا وند، اپنے خدا کے احکامات کی نافرمانی کی۔ وہ بھی بنی اسرائیلیوں کی طرح ہی رہے۔
20 خدا وند نے تمام بنی اسرائیلیوں کو رد کردیا اس نے ان پر کئی مصیبتیں نازل کیں۔ اُس نے لوگوں کو انہیں تباہ کرنے دیا۔ اور آخر کار وہ انہیں اپنی نظروں سے دور کردیا۔
My point of view about above verses
God left Israel and Judah as they did not keep the command and decrees in accordance with the entire law and I commanded to your ancestors to obey – so Lord rejected all people of Israel and gave them into the hands of plunderers
If we do not obey God - He leaves us on mercy of others
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
