2 Kings ; Chapter 22 verse 14- 20
14 Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Akbor, Shaphan and Asaiah went to speak to the prophet Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the New Quarter.
15 She said to them, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me, 16 ‘This is what the Lord says: I am going to bring disaster on this place and its people, according to everything written in the book the king of Judah has read. 17 Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all the idols their hands have made,my anger will burn against this place and will not be quenched.’ 18 Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard: 19 Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people—that they would become a curse and be laid waste—and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I also have heard you, declares the Lord. 20 Therefore I will gather you to your ancestors, and you will be buried in peace. Your eyes will not see all the disaster I am going to bring on this place.’”
یُوسیاہ اور خُلدہ نبیہ
14 اس لئے کا ہن خلقیاہ ، اخی قام ، عکبور ، سافن اور عسایاہ خُلدہ کے پاس گئے جو نبیہ تھی۔ خُلدہ خُرخس کے پو تے ، تقواہ کے بیٹے شُلوم کی بیوی تھی جو بادشاہ کے کپڑوں کی نگہداشت کرتا تھا۔ خُلدہ یروشلم میں دوسرے ضلع میں رہتی تھی۔ انہوں نے جا کر خُلدہ سے بات کی۔
15 تب خُلدہ نے انکو کہا، “خداوند اسرائیل کا خدا کہتا ہے : اس آدمی کو کہو جس نے تمہیں میرے پاس بھیجا ہے۔ 16 ’ خداوند یہ کہتا ہے : میں اس جگہ پر آفت لا رہا ہوں اور ان لوگو ں پر جو یہاں رہ رہے ہیں۔ یہ آفتیں وہ ہیں جو اس کتاب میں بیان کی گئی ہیں جسے بادشاہ نے پڑھا ہے۔ 17 یہودا ہ کے لوگوں نے مجھے چھوڑا اور دوسرے خدا ؤں کے لئے بخور جلا ئے انہوں نے مجھے غصّہ دلا یا۔ انہوں نے کئی بُت بنائے۔اسی لئے میں اپنا غصّہ اس جگہ کے خلاف دکھاؤں گا۔میرا غصّہ ایک آ گ کی مانند ہو گا جسے رو کا نہیں جا سکے گا۔
18-19 “یہودا ہ کے بادشاہ یوسیاہ نے تمہیں بھیجا ہے خداوند سے نصیحت پو چھنے کے لئے۔یوسیاہ سے یہ باتیں کہو : ’خداوند اسرائیل کے خدا نے جو الفاظ کہے تم نے سنے۔ تم نے ان چیزوں کو سنا جو میں نے اس جگہ کے متعلق اور جو لوگ یہاں رہتے ہیں ان کے متعلق کہا۔ تمہارا دل نرم تھا اور تم پشیمان ہوئے تھے ان باتوں کو سن کر میں نے کہا کہ بھیانک چیزیں اس جگہ پر ( یروشلم ) وقوع پذیر ہونگی۔ تم غم کے اظہار کے لئے اپنے کپڑے پھا ڑوگے اور رونا شروع کرو گے۔ اسی لئے میں نے تمہیں سنا۔ خدا وند یہ کہتا ہے : 20 ’ میں تمہیں تمہارے آباؤ اجداد کے ساتھ ہونے کے لئے لے آؤنگا تم مرو گے اپنی قبر میں سلامتی کے ساتھ جاؤ گے۔ اس لئے تمہاری آنکھیں تمام آفتوں کو نہیں دیکھیں گی جو میں اس جگہ ( یروشلم ) پر لا رہا ہوں۔”
My point of view about above verses
God told prophet Huldah tell king of Judah as you wept and make yourself humble before the Lord after reading the book of law so you will gather with your ancestors in peace but on this place I will bring disaster as they aroused my anger by burning incense to other gods
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
