1 Chronicles ; Chapter 14 verse 8- 10
8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, they went up in full force to search for him, but David heard about it and went out to meet them. 9 Now the Philistines had come and raided the Valley of Rephaim; 10 so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?”
The Lord answered him, “Go, I will deliver them into your hands.”
8 فلسطینی لوگوں نے سُنا کہ داؤد کو اسرائیل کے بادشاہ کے طور پر مسح کیا گیا ہے۔ اس لئے تمام فلسطینی لوگ داؤد کی کھوج میں گئے۔ داؤد نے اس بارے میں سنا اور وہ ان لوگوں کے روبرو ہو نے کے لئے باہر گئے۔ 9 فلسطینیوں نے رفائیم کی وادی پر دھاوا بو لا۔ 10 داؤد نے خدا سے پو چھا ، “اگر میں فلسطینی لوگو ں کے خلاف جا ؤں تو کیا تو مجھے انہیں شکست دینے میں مدد کرے گا ؟”
تب خدا وند نے داؤد کو جواب دیا ، “جاؤ میں تمہیں فلسطینی لوگوں کو شکست دینے میں مدد کروں گا۔
My point of view about above verses
When David has been anointed as king over all Israel then Philistines raided valley of Rephaim so David inquired should I attack them – the Lord said yes, I will deliver them into your hands
Its God who gives victory or defeat
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
