1 Chronicles ; Chapter 14 verse 13- 17
13 Once more the Philistines raided the valley; 14 so David inquired of God again, and God answered him, “Do not go directly after them, but circle around them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. 15 As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.” 16 So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon to Gezer.
17 So David’s fame spread throughout every land, and the Lord made all the nations fear him.
فلسطینیوں پر دوسری فتح
13 فلسطینیو ں نے رفائیم کی وادی پر پھر سے دھاوا بو لا۔ 14 اس لئے داؤد نے پھر خدا سے رہبری کی درخواست کی اور خدا نے ان سے کہا ، “ان پر سیدھا حملہ مت کر و بلکہ ان کے چاروں طرف جا ؤ اور اس طرف سے ان کے پاس بڑھو جہاں بلسان درخت [ ہو۔ 15 اور جب تمہا را پہریدار بلسان کے درخت کے چوٹیوں سے بڑھنے کی آواز سنے گا۔ تو لڑا ئی میں کودجانا۔ میں تم سے پہلے فلسطینیو ں کو ہرانے جا ؤں گا۔” 16 داؤد نے وہی کیا جیسا کہ خدا نے حکم دیا اور ان لوگوں نے فلسطینیو ں کو جبعون سے جزرتک شکست دی۔ 17 اس طرح سے داؤد تمام ملکوں میں مشہور ہوا۔ خداوند نے تمام قوموں کو اس سے ڈرادیا۔
My point of view about above verses
When David has been anointed as king over all Israel then Philistines raided valley of Rephaim so David inquired should I attack them – the Lord said yes, I will deliver them into your hands
Its God who gives victory or defeat
When second time Philistines raided the valley God told David the plan how to attack them and David did so – so he handed them over to David – David’s fame spread through out the land and all nations are fearing from him
God fights for his people - we just need to trust Him
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
