1 Chronicles ; Chapter 22 verse 6-10
6 Then he called for his son Solomon and charged him to build a house for the Lord, the God of Israel. 7 David said to Solomon: “My son, I had it in my heart to build a house for the Name of the Lord my God. 8 But this word of the Lord came to me: ‘You have shed much blood and have fought many wars. You are not to build a house for my Name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight. 9 But you will have a son who will be a man of peace and rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon, and I will grant Israel peace and quiet during his reign. 10 He is the one who will build a house for my Name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’
6 تب داؤد نے اپنے بیٹے سلیمان کو بلایا اور اسے اسرائیل کے خدا وند خدا کے لئے گھر بنانے کا حکم دیا۔ 7 داؤد نے سلیمان سے کہا ، “میرے بیٹے میں اپنے خدا وند خدا کے نام کے لئے ایک گھر بنا نا چاہتا تھا۔ 8 لیکن خدا وند نے مجھ سے کہا ، “داؤد تم نے بہت سی جنگیں کی ہیں اور بہت سے لوگوں کا خون بہایا ہے اس لئے تم میرے نام کے لئے گھر نہیں بنا سکتے۔ کیوں کہ تو نے میری نظر کے سامنے بہت زیادہ خون بہایا ہے۔ 9 تمہارا ایک بیٹا ہوگا۔ جو کہ امن و امان اور سکون کا آدمی ہو گا۔ میں انہیں اس کے چاروں طرف کے تمام دشمنوں سے سکون دونگا۔ اس کا نام سلیمان ہوگا۔ اور ان دنوں میں اسرائیل ہمیشہ ہمیشہ امن و امان اور سکون سے ہوگا۔ 10 وہ میرے نام کے لئے ایک ہیکل بنائے گا۔ اور وہ میرا بیٹا اور میں اس کا باپ ہونگا۔ میں اسرائیل پر اسکی حکو مت ہمیشہ کے لئے قائم کروں گا۔‘”
My point of view about above verses
God told David that your son Solomon will built a house for my name not you as you have shed so much blood on earth. He will be a man of peace – he will reign Israelites in peace – he will be my son and I be his father – and I will establish his throne over Israel forever
God did not like to shed blood and likes peace on earth
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
