Asa’s Reform
5 In those days it was not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands were in great turmoil. 6 One nation was being crushed by another and one city by another, because God was troubling them with every kind of distress. 7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
5 اس مصیبت کے وقت میں کو ئی بھی آدمی سلامتی سے سفر نہیں کر سکتا تھا کیونکہ بہت زیادہ تشدد کی وجہ سے قوموں کے باشندے درہم بر ہم ہو گئے تھے۔ 6 ایک قوم دوسری قوم کو تباہ کرتی اور ایک شہر دوسرے شہر کو تباہ کرتا۔ ایسا ہو رہا تھا کیونکہ خدا نے ان کو ہر قسم کی مصیبت میں مبتلا کیا تھا۔ 7 لیکن آسا تم اوریہوداہ اور بنیمین کے لوگ طاقتور رہو کمزور نہ ر ہو۔ پست ہمت نہ بنو کیو ں کہ تمہیں اچھے کا موں کا صِلہ ملے گا۔”
My point of view about above verses
Asa did what is right in the eyes of the Lord so God gave him rest and peace during his reign
God told Asa through Azariah be strong and don’t give up for your work will be rewarded – however in those days there were lot of distress in land
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
