2 Chronicles ; Chapter 18 verse 20-22
20 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the Lord and said, ‘I will entice him.’
“‘By what means?’ the Lord asked.
21 “‘I will go and be a deceiving spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,’ he said.
“‘You will succeed in enticing him,’ said the Lord. ‘Go and do it.’
22 “So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you.”
20 تب ایک روح آئی اور وہ خدا وند کے سامنے کھڑی ہو ئی اس روح نے کہا ، ’ میں اخی اب کو دھو کہ دونگی۔‘ خدا وند نے روح سے پو چھا ، “کیسے ؟ ” 21 اس روح نے جواب دیا ، ’میں باہر آؤنگی اور اخی اب کے نبیوں کے منھ میں جھوٹ بولنے والی روح بنوں گی۔‘ اور خدا وند نے کہا ، ’ تمہیں اخی اب کو دھو کہ دینے میں کامیابی ملے گی اس لئے جاؤ اور یہ کرو۔‘ 22 “ اخی اب ! اب غور کر خدا وند نے تمہارے نبیوں کے منھ میں جھو ٹ بولنے والی روح ڈا لی۔ وہ خدا وند ہی ہے جو تمہارے لئے بری خبر دیتا ہے۔”
My point of view about above verses
Lord was with Jehosaphat as he followed the ways of his father David and obeyed God’s commands and decrees
When king of Israel and Judah enquired from Micaiah to go for war against Ramoth Gilead he said I saw all Israelites scatters on the hills like sheep without a shepherd and Lord said that have no master – let each one go home in peace
Micaiah told king of Israelite I saw LORD sitting on throne and asking who will entice Ahab king of Israel to attack Ramoth Gilead so he will die there
Prophets spirits said to Lord that we will entice him so that he should go into war and God said go ahead as He has decreed disaster for him
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
