2 Chronicles ; Chapter 18 verse 23 - 27
23 Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah went up and slapped Micaiah in the face. “Which way did the spirit from the Lord go when he went from me to speak to you?” he asked.
24 Micaiah replied, “You will find out on the day you go to hide in an inner room.”
25 The king of Israel then ordered, “Take Micaiah and send him back to Amon the ruler of the city and to Joash the king’s son, 26 and say, ‘This is what the king says: Put this fellow in prison and give him nothing but bread and water until I return safely.’”
27 Micaiah declared, “If you ever return safely, the Lord has not spoken through me.” Then he added, “Mark my words, all you people!”
23 تب صدقیاہ بن کنعنہ میکا یاہ کے پاس گیا اور اس کے منہ پر مارا۔ صدقیاہ نے کہا ، “جب خدا وند کی روح میرے پاس تجھ سے بات کرنے گئی تو کس طرح سے گئی ؟ ” 24 میکایاہ نے جواب دیا ، “صدقیاہ تم اس دن اس کو جان جاؤ گے جب تم ایک اندرونی کمرے میں چھپنے آؤ گے۔” 25 بادشاہ اخی اب نے کہا ، “میکا یاہ کو لے لو اور اسے شہر کے گور نر امون کے اور بادشاہ کے بیٹے یو آس کے پاس بھیج دو۔ 26 امون اور یوآس سے کہو کہ بادشاہ یہ کہتا ہے کہ میکا یاہ کو قید میں رکھو۔ اس کو کھا نے کے لئے سوائے روٹی اور پانی کے کچھ اور نہ دو جب تک میں جنگ سے واپس نہ آؤں۔” 27 میکا یاہ نے جواب دیا ، “اخی اب اگر تم جنگ سے سلامتی سے لوٹ آتے ہو تو سمجھ لینا خدا وند نے میرے ذریعہ نہیں کہا۔ تم سب لوگ میرے الفاظ سنو اور یاد رکھو۔”
My point of view about above verses
Lord was with Jehosaphat as he followed the ways of his father David and obeyed God’s commands and decrees
When king of Israel and Judah enquired from Micaiah to go for war against Ramoth Gilead he said I saw all Israelites scatters on the hills like sheep without a shepherd and Lord said that have no master – let each one go home in peace
Micaiah told king of Israelite I saw LORD sitting on throne and asking who will entice Ahab king of Israel to attack Ramoth Gilead so he will die there
Prophets spirits said to Lord that we will entice him so that he should go into war and God said go ahead as He has decreed disaster for him
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
