2 Chronicles ; Chapter 20 verse 10-13
Jehoshaphat Defeats Moab and Ammon
10 “But now here are men from Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, whose territory you would not allow Israel to invade when they came from Egypt; so they turned away from them and did not destroy them. 11 See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance. 12 Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”
13 All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the Lord.
10 لیکن اب یہاں عمّون ، موآب اور شعیر پہا ڑی کے لو گ چڑھ آئے ہیں۔ تو نے بنی اسرائیلیوں کو اس وقت ان کی زمین میں نہیں جانے دیا جب بنی اسرائیل مصر سے آئے۔ اس لئے بنی اسرائیل پلٹ گئے تھے اور ان لوگوں نے ان کو تباہ نہیں کیا تھا۔ 11 لیکن دیکھو وہ لوگ ہمیں ان لوگوں کو تباہ کر نے کا کیسا صلہ دے رہے ہیں۔ وہ لوگ ہمیں تیری میراث سے با ہر نکالنا چاہتے ہیں۔ یہ زمین تو نے ہمیں دی ہے۔ 12 ہمارے خدا ان لوگوں کو سزا دے۔ ہم لوگ اس بڑی فوج کے خلاف کو ئی طاقت نہیں رکھتے جو ہمارے خلاف آرہی ہے۔ ہم نہیں جانتے کہ ہمیں کیا کر نا ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ ہم تجھ سے مدد کی امید کر تے ہیں۔”
13 یہوداہ کے تمام لوگ خدا وند کے سامنے اپنے بچّوں ، بیویوں اور اولادوں کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں۔
My point of view about above verses
Lord was with Jehosaphat as he followed the ways of his father David and obeyed God’s commands and decrees
God's people seek help from God in situations of distress - They cry for help and God listens to His people
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
