1Samuel ; Chapter 10 Verse 20-22
Saul Made King
20 When Samuel had all Israel come forward by tribes, the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot. 21 Then he brought forward the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, and Matri’s clan was taken. Finally Saul son of Kish was taken. But when they looked for him, he was not to be found. 22 So they inquired further of the Lord, “Has the man come here yet?”
And the Lord said, “Yes, he has hidden himself among the supplieS.”
20 ان لوگوں میں سے ایک کو بادشاہ چننے کے لئے سموئیل نے اسرا ئیل کے تمام خاندانی گروہ کو اپنے نزدیک آنے دیا اس لئے پہلے بنیمین کے خاندانی گروہ کوچُنا اور اس سے ایک بادشاہ کو چنا گیا۔ 21 سموئیل نے بنیمینی گروہ کے ہر خاندان سے کہا کہ ایک ایک کر کے آگے چلے۔ مطری کا خاندان چُنا گیا۔ تب سموئیل نے مطری خاندان کے ہرفرد سے کہا کہ ایک ایک کرکے آ گے نکلے۔ قیس کے بیٹے ساؤل کو چُنا گیا۔
لیکن جب لوگوں نے ساؤل کی کھو ج کی تو وہ اسے نہیں ملے۔ 22 تب انہوں نے پھر خداوند سے رجوع کیا اور پو چھا ، “کیا وہ آدمی یہاں آچکا ہے ؟”
خداوند نے جواب دیا ، “ہاں! مال و اسباب کے پیچھے چھپا ہوا ہے۔”
My point of view about above verses
Lord told Samuel who will be the first king of Israelites who will deliver them from the hands of Philistines – He will be from tribe of Benjamin and when Samuel saw Saul - The Lord said to him – This is the man who will govern my people as their cry reached to me
When Samuel was searching for the man God choses to lead his people tribe by tribe, clan by clan and family by family, He could not find him and enquired from God and God told him yes he has hidden himself among supplies
If God chooses you - you can't hide from Him
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
