1Samuel ; Chapter 23 Verse 9-13
David Saves Keilah
When David learned that Saul was plotting against him, he said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod.” 10 David said, “Lord, God of Israel, your servant has heard definitely that Saul plans to come to Keilah and destroy the town on account of me. 11 Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me to him? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? Lord, God of Israel, tell your servant.”
And the Lord said, “He will.”
12 Again David asked, “Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me and my men to Saul?”
And the Lord said, “They will.”
13 So David and his men, about six hundred in number, left Keilah and kept moving from place to place. When Saul was told that David had escaped from Keilah, he did not go there.
9 داؤد کو پتہ چلا کہ ساؤل اس کے خلاف منصوبے بنا رہا ہے۔ داؤد نے ابی یا تر کا ہن سے کہا ، “چغہ لا ؤ !”
10 داؤد نے دُعا کی ، “خداوند اسرا ئیل کا خدا ! میں نے سنا ہے کہ ساؤل قعیلہ کے خلاف لڑنے کے لئے آنے کا منصوبہ بنا رہا ہے کیوں کہ میں قعیلہ میں ہوں۔ 11 کیا ساؤل قعیلہ آئے گا ؟ کیا قعیلہ کے لوگ مجھے ساؤل کے حوالے کریں گے ؟ خدا وند اسرائیل کا خدا میں تمہارا خادم ہوں برائے مہربانی مجھے کہو۔”
خدا وند نے جواب دیا ، “ساؤل آئے گا۔”
12 داؤد نے دوبارہ پو چھا ، “کیا قعیلہ کے لوگ مجھے اور میرے آدمیوں کو ساؤل کے حوالے کریں گے ؟” خدا وند نے جواب دیا “وہ کریں گے۔”
13 اِس لئے داؤد اور اسکے آدمیوں نے قعیلہ چھوڑ دیا تقریباً وہ ۶۰۰ آدمی تھے جو داؤد کے ساتھ گئے۔ داؤد اور اسکے آدمی ایک جگہ سے دوسری جگہ گھومتے رہے۔ ساؤل کو پتہ چل گیا کہ داؤد قعیلہ سے بچ نکلا اس لئے ساؤل اس شہر کو نہیں گیا۔
My point of view about above verses
David inquired Lord shall I attack Philistines as they are fighting against Keilah and Lord said yes go and attack Philistines and save Keilah
God told David I am handing over Philistines into your hand so go down to Keilah – so David went with his men and inflicted heavy losses on Philistines and carried off all their live stock
God answered David that he should leave Keilah as Saul is panning to come here and Keilah people will handover you to Saul – God said you should leave so he left with six hundred men and kept moving from place to place
Daud inquires God and God answered
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
