1 Kings ; Chapter 11 Verse 23-25
And God raised up against Solomon another adversary, Rezon son of Eliada, who had fled from his master, Hadadezer king of Zobah. 24 When David destroyed Zobah’s army, Rezon gathered a band of men around him and became their leader; they went to Damascus, where they settled and took control. 25 Rezon was Israel’s adversary as long as Solomon lived, adding to the trouble caused by Hadad. So Rezon ruled in Aram and was hostile toward Israel.
23 خدا نے بھی دوسرے آدمی کو سلیمان کا دشمن بنایا۔ یہ آدمی رزون تھا جو الیدع کا بیٹا تھا۔ رزون اپنے آقا کے پاس سے بھا گا تھا اس کا آقا ضوباہ کا بادشاہ ہدد عزر تھا۔ 24 داؤد کے ضوباہ کی فوجوں کو شکست دینے کے بعد رزون نے چند آدمیوں کو جمع کیا اور ایک چھو ٹی فوج کا سردار بن گیا۔ رزون دمشق گیا اور وہاں ٹھہرا۔ رزون دمشق کا بادشاہ ہوا۔ 25 رزون ارام پر حکومت کیا۔ رزون اسرائیل سے نفرت کیا اس لئے وہ اس ملک کا دشمن بنا رہا جب تک کہ سلیمان زندہ تھا۔ رزون اور ہدد اسرائیل کے لئے مصیبت کا سبب بنے ہوئے تھے۔
My point of view about above verses
As Solomon turned away from the way of God so He became angry with him so He told him I will take away kingdom from you and give it your subordinate however because of my servant David I will do it not in your life time but during the reign of your son and gave one tribe to you for the sake of Jerusalem and for the sake of David my servant
God raised Rezon son of Eliada a adversary against Solomon – He remained hostile towards Israel as long as Solomon lived
God choose us to work for Him and when we finish our work, He considers it and bless and if we turned away- He departs from our lives and raised enemies against us - who make our lives hell
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
