2 Kings ; Chapter 3 Verse 20-23
20 The next morning, about the time for offering the sacrifice, there it was—water flowing from the direction of Edom! And the land was filled with water.
21 Now all the Moabites had heard that the kings had come to fight against them; so every man, young and old, who could bear arms was called up and stationed on the border. 22 When they got up early in the morning, the sun was shining on the water. To the Moabites across the way, the water looked red—like blood. 23 “That’s blood!” they said. “Those kings must have fought and slaughtered each other. Now to the plunder, Moab!”
20 صبح میں صبح کی قربانی کے وقت پانی ادوم کی سمت سے بہنا شروع ہو گا اور وادی بھر جا ئے گی۔
21 جب موآب کے لوگوں نے سُنا کہ بادشاہ ان کے خلاف لڑنے آئے ہیں تو موآب کے لوگ ایک ساتھ جمع ہو ئے تمام بوڑھے آدمی بھی زرہ بکتر پہنے ہو ئے سر حد پر انتظار کرنے لگے۔ ( جنگ کے لئے تیار ) 22 موآب کے لوگ اس دن صبح جلداٹھے۔ طلوع ہو تا سورج وادی کے پانی پر چمک رہا تھا۔ اور یہ موآب کے لوگوں کے خون کی مانند دکھا ئی دیتا تھا۔ 23 موآب کے لوگوں نے کہا ، “خون کو دیکھو ! بادشاہ اور لوگ ضرور ایک دوسرے سے لڑے ہیں۔ انہوں نے ایک دوسرے کو تباہ کیا ہے ہم لوگ وہاں جا کر ان مُردہ لوگوں کے پاس سے قیمتی چیزیں لیں گے۔”
My point of view about above verses
Its God who leads his people through his prophets - who spoke to people and advise them on behalf of God - Our aim should be to stay in touch with the word of God that How He used to speak with prophets
God told Elisha this is what the Lord says I will fill this valley with pools of water – you will see neither wind nor rain but there will be water – and you and your cattle will drink and also I will deliver Moab into your hand – you will overthrow all fortified cities and major towns – you will cut down every good tree and ruin all fields
Morning land was filled with water as God said
Its God who uses prophets to prophecy for good or bad - we need to listen Him through His word spoken by prophets
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
