2 Kings ; Chapter 7 Verse 1 -2
The Siege Lifted
3 Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? 4 If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.”
5 At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there, 6 for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” 7 So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives.
جُذاميوں (کو ڑھيوں) کا ارامی کی چھا ؤنی خالی پانا
3 وہاں شہر کے دروازے پر چار آدمی تھے جو جذام کی بیماری جھیل رہے تھے انہوں نے ایک دوسرے سے کہا ، “ہم یہاں کیوں بیٹھے موت کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں؟ 4 یہاں سامریہ میں کھانے کیلئے کچھ نہیں اگر ہم شہر میں جاتے ہیں تو ہم وہاں مر جا ئیں گے اگر ہم یہاں ٹھہرتے ہیں تو مر جا ئیں گے۔ اسلئے ارامی خیمہ کو چلنا ہو گا اگر وہ زندہ رہنے دیں تو ہم رہیں گے اگر وہ مارڈالتے ہیں تو ہم مرجا ئیں گے۔”
5 اس لئے غروب آفتاب کے وقت چاروں جذامی ارامی چھا ؤنی کو گئے۔ وہ ارامی چھاؤنی کے کنارے تک گئے وہاں کو ئی نہیں تھا۔ 6 خداوند نے ارامی فوج کی رتھوں کو گھوڑو ں اور بڑی فوج کی آوازوں کو سنا یا تھا اس لئے ارامی سپاہیوں نے ایک دوسرے سے بات کی اور کہا ، “اسرائیل کے بادشاہ نے ہمارے خلاف لڑنے کیلئے حتیّ اور مصر کے بادشاہوں کو کرایہ پر حاصل کیا۔”
7 ارامی شام میں جلد ہی بھاگے وہ ہر چیز کو چھوڑ دیئے انہوں نے ان کے خیمے ، گھوڑے گدھے چھوڑے اور اپنی جان بچا کر بھاگے۔
My point of view about above verses
God had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army so they said to each other king of Israel has hired other armies to destroy us so they abandoned the camp and ran for their lives
Its God who takecares of us - just we need to trust Him and rest He will manage
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
