Jehu Anointed King of Israel
The prophet Elisha summoned a man from the company of the prophets and said to him, “Tuck your cloak into your belt, take this flask of olive oil with you and go to Ramoth Gilead. 2 When you get there, look for Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. Go to him, get him away from his companions and take him into an inner room. 3 Then take the flask and pour the oil on his head and declare, ‘This is what the Lord says: I anoint you king over Israel.’ Then open the door and run; don’t delay!”
الیشع کا نو جوان نبی سے یا ہو کو مسح کر نے کے لئے کہنا
9 الیشع نبی نے نبیوں کے گروہ میں سے ایک کو بُلایا۔ الیشع نے اس آدمی سے کہا ، “تیار رہو اور یہ تیل کی چھو ٹی شیشی اپنے ہاتھ میں لو۔ رامات جِلعاد کو جاؤ۔ 2 جب تم وہاں پہنچو تو نِمسی کے بیٹے یہوسفط اس کے بیٹے یا ہو کو دیکھو تب اندر جاؤ اسکے بھا ئیوں میں سے اس کو اٹھا کر تیار کرو۔ اُس کو اندرونی کمر ہ میں لے جاؤ۔ 3 تیل کی چھو ٹی شیشی لو اور یاہو کے سر میں تیل ڈا لو اور کہو ، “خدا وند یہ کہتا ہے کہ میں نے تمہیں اسرائیل کا نیا بادشاہ ہونے کے لئے مسح کیا ہے۔ پھر دروازہ کھو لو اور دوڑو انتظار نہ کرو۔”
My point of view about above verses
Elisha summoned a man from prophets and ask him to look for Jehu and tell this is what the Lord says – I anoint you king over Israel
Its God who guide us to perform certain actions and - just we need to trust and do His will
May God give us wisdom to understand Him through His Word as He speaks with us through this - and apply it in our lives to have a blissful life on earth
